There has been some small movement in efforts to reform marijuana laws at the federal level recently. In mid-July, Reps. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) and Paul Broun (R-Ga.) introduced a bipartisan bill, the “Charlotte’s Web Medical Hemp Act of 2014,” and in the Senate, Sen. Rand Paul filed an amendment to a jobs bill that would change federal law enforcement’s ability to enforce federal marijuana laws.
