Cannabis City – Seattle

Cannabis City holds the distinction as Seattle’s first recreational marijuana store, and though the space is a mere 663 square feet, Cannabis City is one of the more talked about small businesses in the state of Washington. Located in Seattle’s SODO district, adult customers have been able to peruse an offering of cannabis products and artful paraphernalia since the store opened on July, 8, 2014. In this interview shop manager Amber McGowan tells us about daily lines of customers, the challenges of meeting marijuana demand and more about this pioneering business and the market in which it operates.
