Oregonians Will Vote on Legal Cannabis

The Oregon Secretary of State’s office is likely days away from placing the New Approach Oregon initiative on the November 4th ballot. If passed, people twenty-one and older would be able to possess up to eight ounces of marijuana at home and one ounce in public, and the Oregon Liquor Control Commission would regulate cannabis sales with similar guidelines as they use for alcohol. CRN’s Brian Bahouth spoke with Peter Zuckerman, Communications Director for New Approach Oregon for the latest on the measure to legalize marijuana in Oregon.
