On July 5, 2014, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Compassionate Care Act, and New York became the 23rd state in the nation to allow marijuana to be prescribed and obtained as medicine.  For some insight, Brian Bahouth spoke with Karen O’Keefe, Director of State Policies at the Marijuana Policy Project.
